Back in Bandharvgarh, a national park in central India, we continue the story of not just one wild tigress, Sita, but also of her elder daughter Bacchi, and their respective cubs. While Sita's good for nothing adolescents fail to take the initiative and hunt for themselves, Bacchi's boys are natural predators. Sita still continues to be visted by Charger, the main male and father of her offspring. But he now pays more attention to his daughters - natural for a tiger whose choice is limited in an ever-decreasing territory. It is the effect of humans encroaching on the park. The constant need to hunt takes its toll on Sita - she has to leave, deserting her territory, family and throne. This film is not just about tiger etiquette and family behaviour, but the choices they have to make in a natural world which is being unnaturally affected by us.

This film was first broadcast: 1999
